Congratulations!

Recently, a few good friends of the NYPD Gaelic Football Club have been promoted, and came back into the fold. Congratulations to First Deputy Commissioner Rafael Pineiro, Assistant Chief Michael Shea, and Deputy Commissioner of Operations Patrick Timilin!

Pray for Constable Peadar Heffron

PSNI Constable Peadar Heffron is still fighting for his life following a car bomb attack on his vehicle as he drove to work near Belfast on January 8th. Peadar is the captain of the PSNI Gaelic Football Club and has participated in the International Police GAA Tournaments held between the NYPD, London Met, PSNI, and Dublin Garda. Please keep Peadar and his family in your prayers. We'll try to keep you up to date with any changes in his condition.

AGM will be held Monday 2/15/10

The NYPD Gaelic Football Club will hold its Annual General Meeting on Monday, February 15th at 7pm at The Heritage on McLean Avenue in Yonkers. 2010 will be a critical year for the club as we prepare to host the 2011 International Police GAA Tournament.
